About
I write stories and visually develop characters and worlds for several personal projects. I don't make a living out of this currently, I do it because I love to do so! I hope to one day be able to produce enough material for my own projects to make an art book. But it will take some time as art is not my fulltime job.I was brought up with good old traditional media. I started drawing digitally with a big old Wacom Intuos at an early age, using Photoshop and Paint Tool Sai for pretty much everything. I still love to sketch with a pencil on simple copy paper. There's something about paper and pencil that no ipad or tablet can ever simulate, that connection!
My view on a changing (art) world
A lot is changing lately in the world of art and creatives, with AI taking the stage and content creators becoming more prominent. As for my own work: My artwork is all AI-free, and as a hobbyist I actually can, and do enjoy the journey, the struggle, and the many hours spent on each piece of work. I want to continue showing people that with enough determination and practice you do not need AI to make amazing art. I want to keep delivering authentic artwork created by human hands. I thank people who have stuck with me since the beginning of my online presence as an artist, and also all the new ones who stick around! ♥
F.A.Q.
If your question is not answered here, feel free to send my a direct message on twitter or instagram. I check those accounts most frequently!
Copyright and the use of my work
Please don't repost my artwork. (Sharing is fine!)
If you want to use my work for anything (like a school project for example), please send me a message. Whether I give my permission, depends on what it is what you want to use my work for.
Software & Resources
I work with various software depending on the type of illustration I want to make. Some types of software fit a certain part of my workflow better at moments. I use Paint Tool Sai 2 & Clip Studio Paint the most for character artwork. Photoshop & Clip Studio are my go-to for a lot of background artwork. I sparsely use 3D software such as Blender and SketchUp to set up simple models for composition or for figuring out the type of light and atmosphere I want for more complex pieces.

I have set this account to private however (you will need an account / be logged in to view!). I plan to post more content on my other social media accounts publicly over time.
